By logging into or using smartHUB 360, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any applicable organizational policies issued by your employer or system administrator. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of the application.

2. Authorized Use

smartHUB 360 is intended solely for authorized business and operational purposes. You agree to use the application only for legitimate work-related activities and shall not misuse, reverse engineer, modify, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the system or its services.

3. User Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities performed using your account. You must not share your username, password, OTP, or authentication credentials with any unauthorized person. Any activity performed under your account may be treated as your responsibility unless proven otherwise.

4. Privacy & Data Processing Consent

By using smartHUB 360, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of information necessary to provide application services, including authentication details, device information, operational logs, and location data where required. Information is processed solely for business operations, security, compliance, and service functionality.

5. Service Availability

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain uninterrupted service, smartHUB 360 does not guarantee continuous availability. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, software updates, network interruptions, hardware failures, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, smartHUB 360, its developers, licensors, distributors, and administrators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, inability to use, interruption of, or reliance upon the application. Users remain responsible for complying with applicable laws, organizational policies, and operational procedures.

7. Policy Updates

These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, security, or operational changes. Continued use of the application following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Location Data Collection & Background Tracking

To facilitate real-time operational duty dispatching, route synchronization, attendance validation, and field workforce management, smartHUB 360 collects geographical location coordinates from your mobile device. This collection may continue in the background even when the application is minimized or not actively in use, provided you remain logged in.

9. Data Minimization Commitment (No Location History)

smartHUB 360 follows a strict data minimization policy. The application does not maintain historical movement logs or travel history. Only the latest available location is retained. Whenever a new location update is received, the previous location record is permanently replaced.

10. Operational Lifecycle

• Activation: Location services begin only after successful user login.
• Notification: Android displays a persistent system notification while background location updates are active.
• Termination: Logging out immediately stops background location updates and removes the persistent notification.

11. User Responsibilities

During authorized working hours, users are expected to keep required permissions enabled while performing assigned duties. Disabling mandatory permissions, force-closing the application, or intentionally preventing required operational services may affect attendance validation, task allocation, route synchronization, or other organizational workflows.
